This would force the DTS "enhancements" to be permanently off. This says to me that the IntcADSP files aren't removed and perhaps that is why installing a bunch of different drivers last week confused the system and resulted in DTS "enhancements" being disabled as I described in my elated "solution" post.īascially, I'm thinking we need to convince the driver it's being run on a system that's not DTS licenced. HOWEVER, I have realised this morning that the IntcADSP files are not listed on that difference list. Comparing the two, I came up with that list on page 10. I then produced a file list for c:\windows (dir /s >file.txt), reinstalled the drivers and produced another file list. Tags (2) Tags: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) notebook 15-ay190nia. To produce that list, I uninstalled the two devices in Device Manager and selected the "Delete the driver software for this device" option. Solved: Before I was using DTS sound control panel but after un update it changed to realtek high definition there is no DTS control panel. The preceding link takes you outside the HP Web site. Option 1: Update the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package from the Microsoft download center. One thing I noticed, though, is my file list. Resolve the issue by updating the Visual C++ redistributable package or by updating the audio driver. This morning I started playing with IntcADSP.sys but had no luck with that either.
